The Context
I designed and developed the website for Nawal Mudh, an Indigenous cultural initiative founded by Jessie Lloyd in 2024, dedicated to revitalizing Australian Indigenous languages through music. The project aimed to establish a strong digital presence to support grant applications and articulate Nawal Mudh’s mission, current projects, and key team members, while honoring cultural sensitivities and engaging an international audience. The website reflects a blend of Indigenous heritage and modern design aesthetics, serving as a dynamic platform that not only preserves traditional languages through innovative music integration but also positions Nawal Mudh as a leader in driving music residencies and cross-cultural collaborations.o3-mini

Use clear hierarchy, concise messaging, and prominent CTAs (“Get Involved,” “Contact Us”) to turn visitors into supporters, subscribers, and collaborators.

Deliver a fast‑loading, mobile‑first design with WCAG‑compliant components and a modular layout that can seamlessly expand into future features (archives, residencies, e‑commerce
Final Deliverables
I delivered a fully responsive, high‑fidelity landing page prototype (desktop + mobile) built on a modular component library. Key sections include a bold hero banner that instantly communicates Nawal Mudh’s mission; a succinct “About Us” overview; spotlight tiles for flagship projects; a dynamic team bio section; and a clear “Get Involved” call‑to‑action in the footer. Each block uses consistent typography, spacing, and culturally grounded visuals to create a cohesive, scroll‑friendly experience.
Alongside the page mockups, I produced a lightweight style guide covering color palette, font scale, iconography, and button/form field states — all optimized for WCAG AA contrast and fast load performance. Components were designed with scalability in mind, allowing easy reuse and expansion (e.g., future archives, event listings, store).
All deliverables live in a single framer file, ready for handoff to development with annotated specs, responsive breakpoints, and export‑ready assets to ensure a smooth build and consistent brand expression.
